Aqueous humor vascular endothelial growth factor pharmacodynamics in the phase 3 Archway trial of the Port Delivery System with ranibizumab

The Port Delivery System with ranibizumab (PDS) is an innovative drug delivery system for the continuous delivery of a customized formulation of ranibizumab into the vitreous, approved in the United States for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). This presentation reports analyses that characterize the aqueous humor pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of ranibizumab delivered via the PDS and monthly intravitreal injections in patients with nAMD from the phase 3 Archway trial (NCT03677934).
