Developing a Guidebook for Participant-Friendly Clinical Trials in Autism

The Guidebook for Participant-Friendly Clinical Trials in Autism was co-created by Roche and The Clinical Trials in Autism Council, members of the autism community. The guidebook is a tool to champion clinical trials which meet the needs of autistic people and their supporters. By building upon first-hand insights gathered by the autism community the guidebook provides recommendations for designing and conducting inclusive and accessible clinical trials for autistic participants. This presentation describes the development process of the guidebook and a summary of the key recommendations and content.
