Efficacy and safety of satralizumab in adults with AQP4-IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD): Results from the phase 3 SAkura studies

Satralizumab significantly reduced the risk of protocol-defined relapse vs placebo when used as a monotherapy or in combination with immunosuppressive therapy in AQP4-IgG-seropositive adults, with a favourable safety profile and no increased risk of infections or serious infections.
