Development of a disease progression model for Alzheimer’s Disease informed by multiple clinical trials and ADNI to predict longitudinal trajectory of CDR-SOB score

This study used data from the placebo arms of multiple Roche clinical trials and the ADNI cohort study to model predicted cognitive decline on CDR-SB in people with prodromal to moderate Alzheimer's disease. The model was developed using a non-linear mixed effects model and externally validated. Preditcting cognitive decline trajectories in the absence of a treatment may be leveraged for clinical trial design.
