Artificial intelligence (AI)–powered pathologic response (PathR) assessment of resection specimens after neoadjuvant atezolizumab in patients with non-small cell lung cancer: Results from the LCMC3 study

The Phase II LCMC3 study (NCT02927301) evaluated pre-operative neoadjuvant atezolizumab in patients with untreated stage IB to IIIB resectable NSCLC. The primary endpoint was major pathologic response (MPR). This post hoc analysis determined inter-reader variability of pathologic response and MPR among pathologists and developed an AI-powered digital assessment in line with IASLC recommendations.. AI-powered digital assessment of MPR will be compared with manual assessment and correlation of MPR with disease-free survival will be presented.
