Pan-cancer analysis of homologous recombination repair-associated gene alterations and genome-wide loss of heterozygosity

In this study, genomic profiling was performed for ≥324 genes, including strong and peripheral homologous recombination repair (HRR) genes, in a pan-cancer cohort of 160,790 samples (Foundation Medicine, Inc.). Prevalence of HRR gene alterations, association of HRR gene alterations with genomic loss of heterozygosity, and the biallelic status of HRR genes are all reported.
