STAIRWAY: Impact of Faricimab▼ Treatment on Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration (nAMD) Lesions Using Different Imaging Modalities

Angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2) and VEGF-A synergistically drive vascular instability, characterized by vascular leakage, neovascularization and inflammation. Faricimab▼ is a bispecific antibody that independently binds and neutralizes both Ang-2 and VEGF-A. This presentation examines the anatomical effects of faricimab▼ in the Phase 2 nAMD STAIRWAY study in the context of Ang-2 biology.
