Epidemiology of Huntington’s disease in the US Medicare population

There is a dearth of reliable evidence pertaining to the incidence and prevalence of Huntington's disease (HD) in the USA. In this retrospective analysis, Medicare Research Identifiable Files were used to identify beneficiaries 65 years and older who were diagnosed with HD in 2017, with the aim of updating current estimates on the incidence and prevalence of HD in US Medicare beneficiaries.
