Challenges along cervical cancer screening pathway: How can digital solutions address these?
This study used HPV-based opportunistic cervical cancer screening data collected between April 2018 and September 30, 2021, at Hospital del Mar, Barcelona, Spain, to identify key challenges along the cervical cancer screening pathway. The results were channelled into the development of a new digital solution that supports the cervical cancer screening and diagnostic process by integrating patient tracking, lab report communication improvement, clinical decision support, and population and program performance analytics to empower clinicians to make more confident decisions.
