During this presentation theatre, you can watch the expert faculty, Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso (Italy) and Dr Michael Recht (USA), use case studies to explore how the treatment landscape for infants and children with haemophilia has evolved over time, as well as recognising the considerations, particularly around shared decision making, that are required when determining the optimal treatment approach for infants with haemophilia A. There was also engaging discussion on the benefits of early prophylaxis as standard of care for infants.
